WWA is committed to support the programs of visionary leaders, as they continue to inspire and support the communities they serve. with programming grants and technical assistance. We provide small grants and/or technical support to enable and strengthen community projects.

WWA is committed to linking volunteers and communities together, via virtual platforms. Today, we are doing this on an individual basis, providing technical assistance from first world professionals to communities in the field. We are also piloting a school to school, pen-pal program, via internet secure websites. We plan to expand this program and hope to establish network communities where volunteers will have an opportunity to interact with communities in the field and get to know them as friends.

INITIATIVES

WWA is focused on the inspired vision of the community leaders we work with. We work across sectors, striving, as these leaders do, to match opportunities with unique community needs.

WWA provides technical assistance and support, often from inception to market, to help communities determine sustainable, competitive opportunities that they can afford to pursue. WWA helps leaders and community stakeholders assess competitive and risk factors like; cost of production and getting to market, coupled with the risk that it may take longer than expected for a market acceptable product to be created, for internal or external reasons. These considerations are weighed against the cost of similar products in the market.

Like the communities, WWA works across sectors. Currently, we provide assistance with projects in agriculture, animal husbandry, textiles and handicrafts.

WWA is working to enhance awareness around critical issues confronting the communities we serve. We strive to educate for sustainable and transformational change through key strategies, such as, education awareness, benchmarking better practices and linking thought leaders to broader networks.
