This presentation highlights COGRI Nyumbani and will be shared with practitioners at this years Unite for Sight Global Health and Innovation Conference, in New Haven Connecticut, at Yale University.

WWA provided education in water safety. In low-fuel environments, where boiling is not often viable, river water can be filter through layers of kanga cloth and sterilized by UV light (sunlight), in clear liter bottles* after a few hours.  Although, not a permanent solution, this provides sterile drinking water immediately, without the use of fuel.

*(Discarded water bottles from tourists are perfect!).
